How SecurityQS ("the Company") collects, uses, and protects information.
Last updated July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information the SecurityQS service ("the Service") collects and how it is used. It is provided for transparency and is not legal advice.
We use this information to operate the Service. That means running your knock map and quotes, sourcing leads, scheduling installs, tracking your sales and 1099 finances, sending notifications you request, processing billing, providing support, and keeping the Service secure.
We share data only as needed to provide the Service, with providers such as:
We do not sell your personal information.
If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, SecurityQS requests permission to view and edit
events on your calendars (the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events scope). We use
this access for one purpose only: to power the calendar features you asked for — checking your availability
when a customer books a consultation, and creating, updating, or removing the appointments you schedule in
SecurityQS on your own Google Calendar. We request it only when you connect Google Calendar, and you can
disconnect at any time in the app or at
myaccount.google.com/permissions, which revokes our
access. We store only what's needed to keep those events in sync (such as event identifiers and your
authorization tokens, held securely); we do not copy or retain the rest of your calendar.
Limited Use. SecurityQS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we use Google Calendar data solely to provide and improve these calendar features; we do not sell it; we do not transfer it to others except as necessary to provide or improve the feature, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition; we do not use it for advertising; and we do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent, where necessary for security or to comply with the law, or when the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
AI features and Limited Use. Some SecurityQS features use artificial intelligence provided by Anthropic (the Claude API) — for example, drafting follow-up messages, coaching sales objections, and reading receipts you photograph. Our use of any information received from Google Workspace APIs, including Google Calendar data, is never used, transferred, or sold to create, train, retrain, or improve any generalized or foundational machine-learning or artificial- intelligence model, whether our own or a third party's. Anthropic processes data submitted to its API under commercial terms that prohibit using that data to train its models, and Google user data is not shared with any AI provider for training or any other secondary purpose. This use adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to operate core features. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period. If you disconnect Google Calendar or delete your account, we delete the Google authorization tokens and synced event references we hold for you. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, though no system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
You can access, correct, or request deletion of your account information by contacting us. You can turn off location and push notifications from your device or account settings. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from within the app or at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which revokes our access to your Google account data.
As a user, you are responsible for handling the customer, lead, and homeowner information you collect through the Service lawfully, including obtaining any consent required and honoring Do-Not-Call and privacy rules in your area.
The Service is for business use by adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
