These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SecurityQS websites, apps, and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. This page is a general template provided for transparency and is not legal advice; final terms and governing law will be confirmed by the Company.

1. The Service

SecurityQS provides field software for alarm sales representatives and teams, including a knock map, lead sourcing, quoting, install scheduling, and financial tracking tools. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions, free trial & billing

New accounts include a 30-day free trial with no payment method required.
After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription. Plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel anytime from the billing page; access continues through the end of the paid period, and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
Prices and plan features may change; we will give reasonable notice of changes that affect an active subscription.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and to comply with all rules that apply to your sales activity, including door-to-door solicitation, telemarketing, Do-Not-Call, and privacy laws in the areas where you operate. You are solely responsible for how you contact prospects and for how you use any lead, homeowner, or property data obtained through the Service. You may not use the Service to harass, defraud, or violate the rights of others, or to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service.

5. Lead & property data

Lead lists and property/owner information are compiled from third-party sources and are provided "as is," without any guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or availability. You are responsible for verifying information and for using it in compliance with applicable law and any third-party data terms.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the customer and business information you enter. You grant the Company the limited rights needed to host and process that information to provide the Service. You are responsible for having the right to store and use the information you enter.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by the Company and protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is in good standing.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date; continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
